  • 11 and 12 January 2009: - Search for two missing hikers in Hidden Grove in Sechelt.
  • 22 February 2009: Assisted RCMP on a callout to Chapman Creek.
  • 01 April 2009: Rescued a man who had fallen over the steep embankment of Gray Creek.
  • 08 April 2009: Assisting North Shore Rescue on a mutual aid call for a missing senior citizen in North Vancouver.
  • 09 and 10 May 2009: Provided first aid support for the ‘Rat Race’ Bike Races in Roberts Creek.
  • 16 May 2009: Participated in the Pender Harbour May Day Parade (see photos below).

  • 24 May 2009: Assisted BC Ambulance Service with evacuation of mountain biker with a broken ankle from “Highway 103”.
  • 13 June 2009 : Assisted North Shore Rescue on a mutual aid call for a missing hiker on Mount Seymour.
  • 20 June 2009: On location at the grand opening of the Egmont and District Fire Hall.
  • 01 July 2009: Participated in the 2009 Sechelt Canada Day Parade.  Thanks to Alec, Jim, Kevin, Megan, and Peter and Peter’s dog (see photos below).

  • 03 July 2009: Started on a callout by the BC Ambulance Service to the Skookumchuck Trail to assist in helping an injured hiker.
  • 24 August 2009: Assisted Coquitlam Search and Rescue on a mutual aid call for a missing person.
  • 31 August 2009: Involved in a search for three mountain bikers overdue in the Trout Lake area.
  • 09 September 2009: We got geared up to look for a missing senior in Halfmoon Bay but the person was found before we got very far; that’s the kind of search we like.
  • 19 September 2009: Assisted North Shore Rescue on a mutual aid call for a missing hiker,
  • 23 October 2009: Searched for a missing man in the Halfmoon Bay area.

  • 25 October 2009: Searched for a missing woman in the Soames Hill area near Gibsons.
  • 05 December 2009: We got geared up to look for another missing senior in Halfmoon Bay but the person was found before we got very far.
  • 11 December 2009: We started out on a search for two overdue people in the Pender Harbour area but they managed to find their own way out on their own.  Another search where Eileen was the Search Manager and it was over almost before we started.
  • 20 December 2009: Call out to assist BC Ambulance Service at Dakota Ridge with a person suffering a cardiac arrest.
